We asked 5 AIs to call the 2025 peak: ChatGPT o-1 vs DeepSeek’s R-1 vs Claude 3.5 Sonnet vs X’s Grok 2 vs Meta’s Llama 3.1 (2025)

I love our lead Milk Road PRO researcher, Martin, but man does he lack a filter.

I just told him I hadn’t tried DeepSeek’s R-1 model yet, and he came back with this:

“You should. It’s going to take your job in a few years.”

Well, Martin, two can play at that game.

Today, we’ll be asking five major AI models to give us 2025 price predictions for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana.

Then, we’ll compare their answers to Martin’s predictions – and who knows – maybe by the time 2025 is out, we’ll be ‘consolidating’ our research team ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

The AI models we’ll be using are OpenAI’s ChatGPT o-1, DeepSeek’s R-1, Anthropic’s Claude 3.5 Sonnet, X’s Grok 2, Meta’s Llama 3.1 – and the question we will be asking them all is this:

1/ ChatGPT o-1

Seems we’re saving the worst till first? ChatGPT is bullish on $ETH, neutral on $BTC, and so bearish on $SOL that it gave a 2025 peak price prediction ~$30 below its current price.

2/ DeepSeek R-1

…ok, better for all assets this time around. Still not great for Solana. 

Now, hypothetically, if someone had 100% of their portfolio allocated to $SOL – should they be worried? (Asking for a friend).

3/ Claude 3.5 Sonnet

That’s more like it! Man, this Grok guy is onto something…unless you’re an $ETH holder.

5/ Meta’s Llama 3.1

Alright, where’s my Ledger? I need to rebalance my portfolio.

Here are all of the AIs’ peak price predictions for 2025, averaged out:

• Bitcoin ($BTC): $183,200

• Ethereum ($ETH): $9,860

• Solana ($SOL): $469

Now, here’s what happened when I prompted Martin:

Yeesh. This puts me in a tough spot. Martin and the average AI predictions are pretty closely aligned on $BTC and $ETH…but not $SOL.

Which means if the AI average is correct, I get my “Ha! Suck it, Martin – AI is coming for YOUR job!” moment…but my $SOL position underperforms.

And if Martin’s right, I’ll have extra milk money – but be burdened with his gloating for all of 2026…

Man, I really painted myself into a corner on this one.
