MBA in Malaysia 2019

What is an MBA?

MBA Malaysia
The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration (management). The MBA degree originated in the United States in the late 19th century when the country industrialized and companies sought scientific approaches to management. The core courses in an MBA program cover various areas of business such as accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and operations management in a manner most relevant to management analysis and strategy. Most programs also include elective courses.
International MBA programs are acquiring brand value in Asia. For example, while a foreign MBA is still preferred in the Philippines, many students are now studying at one of many "Global MBA" English language programs being offered. English-only MBA programs are also offered in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand. For international students who want a different experience, many Asian programs offer scholarships and discounted tuition to encourage an international environment in the classroom.

What are the Types of MBAs?
MBA programs, also known as Master of Business Administration programs, are designed to help prepare students for high-level positions in business and management. A good MBA program can help you advance your career or explore employment opportunities in new industries.
Types of MBA ProgramsThere are several different types of MBA programs. Not every business school offers every type, but most schools do offer at least one of more of the following:
Two-Year MBA Programs - Also known as full-time or traditional MBA programs, two-year MBA programs take approximately two years to complete. They are designed for students who are able to devote themselves to full-time study.
One-Year MBA Programs - One-year MBA programs, or accelerated programs as they are sometimes known, are rigorous programs that can be completed in as little as 12 months. These programs are also designed for students who are able to devote themselves to full-time study.
Part-Time MBA Programs - Part-time MBA programs are designed for working professionals and other students who are unable to attend class full-time. Courses often take place in the evening and on the weekend to accommodate working professionals. Part-time MBA programs commonly take three to four years to complete.
Executive MBA Programs - Executive MBA programs are very similar to the other MBA programs mentioned above, but are specifically designed for working executives, managers, entrepreneurs, and other business leaders who have at least six years of work experience. Courses are typically explored from a management perspective and are often scheduled at night and on the weekends to accommodate working professionals.
Online MBA Programs - Many of the MBA programs mentioned above can be taken on-campus or online. Online MBA programs are often very similar to their campus-based counterparts. The only difference is that course schedules are usually more flexible, allowing students to attend class when it is convenient for them.

What are the MBA core learning subjects?

We have organised the information and links found here on WikiMedia and elsewhere on the internet to provide a comprehensive business education such as one provided by the top business schools in the world.

A Master in Business Administration (MBA) is unlike many other academic programs. While most Master programs provide a further specialization within a particular school or discipline (such as biology), an MBA is typically interdisciplinary, drawing from the fields of psychology, sociology, economics, accounting and finance.

Most of the materials found within an MBA program are not unique to business. Rather, an MBA provides exposure to the diverse ideas that are most useful to a person who is interested in succeeding in business within an easy-to-learn two-year bundle. Completing an MBA requires a substantial time commitment; if you work through all the concepts referenced, then one can expect to dedicate around 2,000+ hours. Likewise, familiarity with spreadsheets such as Excel is necessary.
